The Sickles boys cross country team put together its most complete performance of the season and came away with the Class 4A-Region 2 title in North Port. After not racing all-out a week ago at the district meet, the Gryphons’ James Zentmeyer and Plant’s Jack Guyton had a more spirited effort. Zentmeyer came away with the victory in a time of 15:26, his third time under 15:30 this season. Guyton, who recently committed to Florida, ran 15:35 to finish second.
